Why should villagers have to visit Bath to watch the latest blockbuster.

The newly opened Westway cinema is losing evening trade from villages as their is no bus to get them back. . Villagers are also having to pay more as the Westways prices are cheaper than other cinemas

some of these films start after 2030 and run for 2 hours or longer the last bus out of Frome is at 2200

Lifeline for evening 267

My personal thanks to Frome Town council for giving the 267 a lifeline.

After Wednesday nights meeting Frome town council pledged a one off payment to fund the 267 until September. Hopefully a more permanent solution can be found after September to keep the service going

Thanks also go to James Freeman of First bus, Bath and North East Somerset Council, Somerset Council, Rode parish Council, Beckington Parish council and Norton ST Phillip parish council.

This will ensure that students who do hairdressing and engineering will be able to finish this years course
