🚨 URGENT D2/D2x DIVERSION – FROME 🚌
Please share with anyone who may be affected.
We has been advised of a temporary road closure at the junction of Critchill Road and Oakfield Road in Frome, which will affect D2 services for three days this week – Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
🚌 What is happening?
During the closure, D2 services will divert via The Butts in both directions, following the D2x route.
The diversion will operate:
➡️ From Frome Market Place:
Up Bath Street → along The Butts → The Grove → Sainsbury’s
⬅️ From Sainsbury’s:
Along The Grove → The Butts → The Grove → Bath Street → Frome Market Place
Green Lane cannot be used as an alternative route as this is also closed due to the same works.
⚠️ Stops affected
Unfortunately, there will be no D2 service for three days to the following areas/stops:
❌ Critchill Estate
❌ Oakfield Road
❌ Broadway
❌ Badcox
❌Memorial Theatre
There will also be no D2 service between Masons Way and Frome Memorial Theatre during the diversion.
If you normally use the D2 from these stops, please allow extra time and use an alternative stop on the diversion route where possible.
